The MIC - Connecting industry and research
For 23 years, the “Machining Innovations Conference for Aerospace Industry” has been very successful in providing a platform for exchange and discussion between scientists and experts from industry. The topics revolve around manufacturing technology in the aerospace industry. Modern aviation requires the extensive use of cutting-edge technologies. In this industry, manufacturing technology is therefore subject to constant pressure to innovate. The MIC always offers insights into current challenges and innovative solutions in the industry as well as new developments in scientific research. Part of the program is an exhibition area with technology leaders of the branch in the production technology center in Hannover. Live demonstrations of advanced manufacturing processes in the IFW laboratory complete the program. An evening gala offers the right setting for an interdisciplinary exchange with our top-class speakers and participants.

Review: Keynote Speaker 2023
At the MIC, you will learn first-hand from users what requirements are placed on flexible production. For this purpose, we have invited company representatives who will tell you about their everyday lives.
Solution providers will also show you how the requirements can be met. And you can discuss your own requirements directly with experts. We are looking forward to the exchange in Hanover.
